A Young Boy and His Bicycle

Did you know desire can beat everything?  It can work in every condition and every situation that seems like impossible to do. It was happened to a boy who lives in Telok Pakeai especially in Arus Deras Village. Truly,we did not asked what his name was, but we just call him Budi. He was about 9 years old and he just an ordinary boy who lives his life normally.  His desire to study beat his limited facility that he had, and he inspired the committee and give a value about giving thanks to god about everything that he gave to us.

On the second week of February, Budi, the boy who live in Arus Deras Village wanted to join on an event that held by college students named “Kampung Inggris”. He got that information in the morning when he went to school, and he was interested.  Every day, he go to school by his old bicycle.  When he came home, he told to his father that he wanted to join that short course.  But, unfortunately his father couldn’t take him to that short course because his father had a job that he had to done.  
His desire to learn English couldn’t stop him to join the short course.  He only had an old bicycle to help him following the short course.  He took his old bicycle and ride it in to the place where the short course was held.  It took two hours riding bicycle to get there and the street’s condition in Telok Pakedai was bad.  It was a hard journey for nine years old boy, but his desire to learn English bring him to the short course.  He followed the course enthusiastically. 

It proves that desire make a thing that is impossible to do become a possible thing to do.  There is no reason to us to give up to every limited condition.  Whatever the challenge, whatever the barrier we can walk through it if we have a desire to do what we want to do.
